Jennifer Barrett (LLB, BSc), joined Moores Legal on 1 April, 2008 when Andrew T Fraser & Associates merged with Moores Legal and joined the Commercial Work Group as a lawyer in the Aged Care team and Commercial Litigation team in February 2010.

Together with Jennifer's experience in the Aged Care sector which includes:

• acting in respect of acquisitions and sales of Aged Care facilties;
• advising on enforcement and compliance issues;
• preparing funding round applications;
• preparing and advising on approved provider applications, transfer of allocated places applications, and key personnel documentation;

Jennifer's experience in the Commercial Litigation sector includes:

• Court litigation (VCAT, Magistrates' Court, County Court, Supreme Court and Federal Court);
• Building and construction disputes;
• Debt recovery;
• Professional negligence litigation;  and
• Trade Practices Act disputes.
