Murray Baird (BA, LLB), heads up the Not for Profit Group.  Murray has been practicing law for over 30 years.  He has given advice to statutory bodies, local councils, and community organisations such as charities, educational institutions and churches.

He is a regular writer, speaker and consultant on Corporate Governance issues for the Not for Profit sector.  He is a Consultant in the application of The Australian Governance System (TAGS) in community organisations.

Murray has a strong commitment to involvement in the local community and holds a number of leadership roles in schools, community housing, church and business organisations.  Murray is Chairman of the Ansvar Board - an insurer of the community sector - and a member of several community Boards.

Murray was co-author of "Knowing the Ropes: the Essential Guide to Business Issues for Not for Profit Organisations".
