Nathan Yii (BComm(Accounting), LLB(Hons)), is a lawyer in the Estate Planning work group.  He provides legal advice to accountants, financial planners and clients in the areas of:

  • Estate Planning including the establishment of testamentary trusts & preventative estate planning;
  • Tax-effective structuring of investments and businesses;
  • Taxation of individuals and SMEs including Income tax, Capital Gains Tax & Stamp Duty issues;
  • Asset protection;
  • Family & other trusts established by deed including reviews & amendments;
  • Self-managed superannuation funds including reviews, general compliance issues, superannuation death benefits and SMSF borrowing via instalment warrant arrangements; and
  • Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Nathan has a keen interest in tax effective planning in the above areas and works with accountants, financial planners and a wide range of clients including owners of small to medium enterprises and high net worth individuals.

Nathan is currently studying his Master of Laws with a focus on taxation and superannuation law and has also been involved in the teaching of the superannuation subject at Leo Cussen Institute.  Nathan has also recently commenced writing for a number of magazines including the LexisNexis Retirement and Estate Planning Bulletin in his areas of interest and expertise.
