Debt recovery is most successful when proper credit control protocols are put in place at the outset of each major business transaction.

Our dispute resolution team is headed by David Wells, a principal who is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a specialist in commercial litigation. He brings to the team a thorough knowledge of the rules of courts and tribunals, enabling our lawyers to pursue procedures such as summary judgement applications, which save clients time and money when defences lodged by defendants are without merit.

Obtaining a judgement is often not an end in itself. Judgements must often be enforced and our litigation lawyers are familiar with all of the enforcement processes available in the courts, including:

• Summons for oral examination
• Warrants of seizure and sale
• Attachment of earnings/debt and
• Bankruptcy notices and sequestration applications.
