We act for a number of aged care facilities and retirement villages on various facets of their business. This can range from the development of the village or facility, assisting to satisfy any planning requirements relating to development and construction, to property or whole of business acquisitions.
We act for the village when there is a change in residents either in the context of a sale of a unit (title based) or the re-letting of a unit (lease based).
We also have experience in advising retirees who are selling their homes and moving into independent living units at retirement villages or into aged care facilities.
